I am a person-centred, BACP accredited counsellor and have had over 22 years of counselling practice in Hackney, London and Leeds. I offer counselling and psychotherapy for all kinds of issues, both short and longer-term.
BACP (the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) is the registrating and regulatory body for counsellors. I adhere to their code of ethics which can be access here.
Much of my practice has been with people who have experienced trauma and abuse and who are trying to come to terms with it and live better lives.
Over the years, I have worked with people who have a wide range of difficulties, from depression, anxiety and bereavement through psychosis, bi-polar and personality disorders. The labels may vary, but each person’s distress is unique and requires a sympathetic and flexible set of responses.
At present session times are available during the day and on midweek weekday evenings.
